Bookyourtripz India Private Limited (“Bookyourtripz,” “we,” “us”) acts as a facilitator connecting users with airlines, hotels, bus operators, and other travel service providers (“Service Providers”). All refunds depend on the rules and timelines set by the respective Service Providers, along with our own processing fees.


1. General Refund Terms

Service Provider Rules Apply:
Refunds are strictly governed by the fare rules, policies, and timelines of the airline, hotel, bus operator, or tour operator involved.

Facilitator Role:
Bookyourtripz forwards refund requests to the Service Provider. A refund is initiated only after the Service Provider approves and releases the refund amount to us.

Non-Refundable Convenience Fee:
The convenience fee charged at the time of booking is non-refundable under all circumstances.

Bookyourtripz Service Fee:
A service fee will be deducted by Bookyourtripz for processing any refund request. This will be clearly indicated and subtracted from the final refundable amount.


2. Product-Wise Refund Rules

A. Flights

  • Refunds follow the specific fare rules of the booked ticket type (e.g., Economy Saver, Flexible Fare).

  • Some tickets are non-refundable; in such cases, only eligible statutory taxes may be refunded as per airline policy.

  • Government taxes are typically refundable even if fare and fuel charges are not.

  • No refunds are provided for partially utilized tickets.

B. Hotels

  • Refund amounts depend entirely on the refund policy of the hotel and the room type booked.

C. Tour Packages

  • Tour package refunds depend on commitments made to multiple Service Providers (hotels, transport vendors, activity operators).

  • In cases where Service Providers do not offer a refund, Bookyourtripz is unable to process one.


3. Refund Processing & Timeline

  • Refund Mode: All refunds are credited to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

  • Processing Timeline:

    • 3–5 business days for Service Provider approval and refund release.

    • An additional 7–14 business days for the amount to reflect in the customer’s bank or card statement.

  • Final Amount: The refunded amount will be the original booking value minus:

    • Service Provider penalties (if applicable)

    • Bookyourtripz service fee

    • Non-refundable convenience fee


4. Amendments & External Circumstances

  • Amendments: Any changes made to a booking (date, destination, traveler names, etc.) are processed as per the Service Provider’s refund rules for the original booking.

  • Force Majeure: In events such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or operational disruptions, refunds are processed only if the Service Provider offers compensation.


5. Limitation of Liability

Bookyourtripz is not responsible for service discrepancies (such as differences between hotel images and actual property conditions) as the fulfillment of services lies solely with the Service Provider. Our responsibility is limited to providing the confirmed booking and processing refunds as received from the Service Provider.
